Alright according to the Japanese CNET’s webpage there’s a DS game called “お菓子ナビDS” or “Nabi, the candy” or “『かんたん! The Handan! たのしい! TANOSHII! お菓子ナビDS』 Nabi, candy DS” will be releases in Japan sometime in mid-march. It’s not the normal kind of DS game but an interactive cooking aid game that would help you make over 110 desserts (cakes, pies, etc) as well with warning for adult supervision with the consideration of children. But it’s quite interesting to see a new kind of game.

The price: 3,990 yen (Approx. 36.70 USD)

Manga pick of the month: Venus Capriccio January 13, 2008

Currently there has been 3 volumes releases in Japan and as far as I know there’s 2 volumes of that in Chinese and it has been translated into English by scanlation groups up to the end of volume one.

This is actually a really incredible collection of work. It’s not a normal shoujo manga I got to say. It draws you in without the extra smut or anything like that in normal shoujo cliche mangas which I think is quite overrated and the art is really good. I’ve been thinking about making a fan-page to that manga but so far I lack resources lack knowing both of the languages without the help of the translation tools. -_-;;

animmundi.jpg

Animamaundi Dark Alchemist is an english anime game that I’ve tried over the past few months and it’s quite good. Although I don’t have too much time to explain the whole plot and everything but here’s a link that will do a better explaination. I don’t normally explain things because people have already explain the stuff and I find it unneccessary to repeat the stuff over again. So I just want to bring about this game I think is pretty good in terms of story and the animation is questionable. It’s not what you normally expect in a game but the story is definitely work the try. This game somewhat reminds me of Trinity Blood. The art is quite similar to that of the Trinity Blood manga series and the story too so definitely check it out if you get the time.

Mangaka recommendations & star signs January 9, 2008

I think the below list of mangakas have awesome art and talent for making the reader affected by the enticing story and plot lines. Though sometimes I got to admit I do tend to favor the ones with my preference of manga art–tall and not really chibi characters, not girly (except guys lol) and not too much cliche or way too much love going on that is disturbing the storyline. =/

Alright that said, I would like to recommend those fellow manga readers my favorite mangakas of all time in not particular order because I like them all for their uniqueness.

As many will realize this list will change from time to time because more mangakas are publishing excellent stuff so I’ll keep this post updated if anyone cares…
