The future is my destiny

Lately, I’ve been really focused on Japanese magazines and among them I really love the gothic lolita/punk style issues which are Kera, Kera Maniax, and recently I just discovered two new titles–Alice Deco and Alice Deco ala mode.

From the recent scans I’ve found online, Alice Deco a la mode has a lot of pretty insightful fashion styles. It got a bit of Alice in Wonderland feel to it with the tea cups and cards as accessories. And most of all, the models look like dolls, which is a bit angelic whereas Kera magazine tend to have less feminine, and darker themes.

Again, I see a lot of repetive plaid patterns, doll dresses, but I’m usually looking forard to something unique such as the painting pattern stockings from Alice Deco de la mode.

I definitely want to buy one of those vintage umbrellas, and I found local store with these available except it’s definitely not on the cheap side.

And I just realized one of the models actually was actually wearing wigs the whole time, when I assumed they dyed their hair lol.

I’m not exactly into wearing make-up but I do have to admit that make-up brand designs are the state of the art too. Just like any other object make-up product designs can be very awesome just to look at.

The other than while reading the July 2008 issue of Japanese fashion magazine JJ, I spotted this really cool page of eccentric nails with the theme on ice cream. I think this is a pretty cool idea and I just thought I should share it.
